WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – In their final event of the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships, IUPUI’s three divers of Cody Watts, Mitchell Gauger and Alex Olson came up short on making the finals of the men’s 3-meter dive as Watts earned the top finish of the three by placing 28th.

Gauger followed Watts with a 41st-place showing, while Olson placed 48th.

Watts progressed throughout his six dives and posted his best score on his final dive. Watts’ sixth-and final dive was his highest degree of difficulty and his score of 54.00 on the dive completed his six-dive total score of 294.40.

Gauger finished with a score of 264.60, while Olson totaled 230.20 points.

Kentucky’s Greg Ferrucci won the men’s 3-meter dive with a 12-dive score of 888.05.
