KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The IUPUI women's basketball team will look to snap a seven-game road losing streak when they head to venerable Memorial Auditorium to meet UMKC on Saturday.  Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT (5 p.m. ET) and Jags fans can catch the game live on IUPUIJags.com, as Scott Taylor will have the call of the game beginning at approximately 3:50 p.m. CT.

IUPUI (2-16, 1-6 Summit) is coming off a weekend split at The Jungle, and the Jaguars are confident that they are beginning to turn the corner in a difficult season.  Despite the difficulties and youth, IUPUI is just one game out of the final spot for a berth in The Summit League Tournament with over half the conference season remaining.

The play of Janna Eichelberger and Kerah Nelson has been reason for optimism among the Jaguars, as Eichelberger turned in back-to-back double-doubles last week, the sophomore's first double-doubles of her career.

Last Saturday, Nelson chipped in with her second career double-double; the freshman has led the Jaguars in scoring in each of their last five contests and is averaging 15.0 points per game in Summit League play.

UMKC (8-10, 5-2 Summit) enters Saturday's game just one game out of first place in The Summit League.  As they have been over the last three years, senior Chazny Morris remains the Kangaroos' go-to player, as she averages 16.3 points per game; Morris became UMKC's all-time leading scorer earlier this season.
