INDIANAPOLIS -- Looking to continue their perfect start to The Summit League season, the IUPUI women's basketball team will host visiting UMKC on Monday night at The Jungle.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, with Greg Rakestraw calling the action on XL 950-AM.

IUPUI (7-6, 2-0 Summit) has enjoyed playing in the confines of The Jungle in the 2008-09 season, going undefeated on the IUPUI campus.  The Jaguars are outscoring their opponents by over 21 points at The Jungle, including Saturday's 68-47 defeat of Southern Utah.

In the win, Jernisha Cann became the first IUPUI basketball player with over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career; with 1,308 points and 1,006 rebounds, Cann became the third player in Summit League history to achieve the milestone.

UMKC (6-8, 1-2 Summit) enters The Jungle after a tough 61-57 loss at Western Illinois on Saturday.  Junior Chazny Morris continues to lead the Kangaroos in scoring, as she has each of the last two years, averaging 17.5 points per game.

A year ago, the Jaguars took all three meetings from UMKC, knocking the Kangaroos out of The Summit League Tournament with a 54-42 win in the tournament semifinals.  Julia Whitted had one of the best games of her career in the win, posting 24 points, 16 rebounds and 8 blocks.
