INDIANAPOLIS --  The IUPUI women's basketball team cannot undo their loss in the 2008 Summit League Championship game, but they can build upon their win on Saturday when they host the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles Monday night.  Tip-off from The Jungle is scheduled for 7 p.m..

IUPUI (8-9, 3-3 Summit) took the season series from Oral Roberts (9-8, 2-4 Summit) in 2007-08, sweeping both regular season meetings; however, it was the Golden Eagles who punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament with a 66-53 win over the Jaguars in The Summit League Tournament Championship.

The Jaguars snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday with a 65-53 win over Centenary.  Julia Whitted posted her fourth straight double-double, finishing with a game-high 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Jernisha Cann made her return to the IUPUI lineup.

Cann's return was marred by a 1-for-8 night from the field, but the senior contributed with 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals.

Oral Roberts (9-8, 2-4 Summit) is coming off an 81-71 loss at Western Illinois on Saturday.  The Golden Eagles are led by junior Janae Voelker, who is averaging 17.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per contest; the junior had 23 points in ORU's loss to the Westerwinds.

The Golden Eagles are among the country's top three-point shooting teams, hitting 7.1 threes per game, good for 22nd in the nation.

This will be the second straight Martin Luther King Day meeting between the Jaguars and Golden Eagles; a year ago, IUPUI went into the Mabee Center in Tulsa, Okla., and downed ORU, 68-49.  Cann finished the contest with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Whitted had 8 points and 12 boards.
