INDIANAPOLIS -- Finishing the regular season in The Jungle, the IUPUI women's basketball team will honor seniors Ashley Conner, Amy Cook and Christina Cunningham prior to their game versus Western Illinois.  Tipoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

With a win, IUPUI (14-15, 10-7 Summit) could rise as high as the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Summit League Tournament, while Western Illinois (14-14, 12-5 Summit) could clinch the No. 1 seed with a victory.

The Jaguars are coming off of a gut-checking 72-62 overtime win at IPFW.  For the fourth time in five games, Jernisha Cann and Julia Whitted each posted double-doubles to lead the Jags to victory.  Cann had 13 points and 16 rebounds, while the 6-foot-5 Whitted had a game-high 24 points and 13 rebounds.

Prior to tipoff, IUPUI will recognize Cann for becoming just the 18th IUPUI women's basketball player to reach the 1,000-point milestone.  With 1,033 points, Cann currently ranks 16th on the school's scoring register.

IUPUI will also hand out the Emily Seiler and Shannon R. McPherson Awards to the players who demonstrate the characteristics required by each of the award namesakes.

The seniors will be honored following the presentation of awards, which will begin approximately 10 minutes prior to tipoff.

The contest can be seen online at SummitTV via www.thesummitleague.org, with Scott McCauley on the play-by-play.

The men's contest versus Western Illinois will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game.
