LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Having already knocked off one major conference opponent in the 2008-09 season, the IUPUI women's basketball team will look to finish their non-conference schedule on a high note when they take on the University of Kentucky Tuesday night.  Tip-off from Memorial Coliseum is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

IUPUI (6-5) can improve to 6-5 in non-conference play with a victory over Kentucky (7-5).  The Jaguars have alternated wins and losses over their last four games and are coming off a tough 59-56 defeat in the championship game of the South Padre Island Shootout.  However, the Jags did defeat their first Atlantic Coast Conference opponent in the semifinals, knocking off Virginia Tech, 64-52.

Senior Jernisha Cann has tallied 10 straight double-doubles for IUPUI, the 15th-longest streak in NCAA history; Cann sits 17 rebounds shy of 1,000 for her career and would become just the third women's basketball player in Summit League history to reach the 1,000-point, 1,000-rebound plateau.

Statistically, the Jaguars and Wildcats are remarkably similar - IUPUI is averaging 61.3 points per game while allowing 57.1 points; Kentucky is also scoring 61.3 points per game while giving up 58.6 points per contest.  The Jaguars are 0-2 against the Wildcats and 0-5 versus Southeastern Conference opponents.

Kentucky has won their last two contests, but neither team has played a game in over a week.
