CINCINNATI -- Looking to carry over their effort from last weekend's Summit League-opening win, the IUPUI women's basketball team will head to the Queen City on Sunday to battle the University of Cincinnati Bearcats.  Tip-off from Fifth Third Arena is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.

IUPUI (5-3) enters the game winners of their last two contests, having swept past Western Illinois, 67-38, on Dec. 6.  The Jaguars held WIU without a field goal for an 18:40 stretch of the contest and one field goal in the first half.

With the win, IUPUI head coach Shann Hart picked up her 60th win at IUPUI, making her the program's leader in NCAA Division I victories.

Senior Jernisha Cann has tallied a school-record seven straight double-doubles and is averaging 18.4 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.  Julia Whitted and Nicole James are posting 11.6 and 10.3 points per game, respectively, for the Jaguars.

When IUPUI puts three players into double figures, they are 5-1 this season.

All time, IUPUI is 1-5 against current members of the BIG EAST conference and is 0-1 against Cincinnati.  The Jaguars lost, 74-47, at UC on Nov. 21, 2003.

Cincinnati (6-2) is receiving votes in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, and like the Jaguars, feature an aggressive defense.  The Bearcats are allowing 52.0 points per game, while IUPUI is permitting 56.3 points per game.
