Game Notes
Moon Township, Pa. -- The IUPUI women's basketball team will look to pick up the consolation game of the Robert Morris Thanksgiving Tournament when they take on Howard University for the first time in school history. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET from the Charles L. Sewall Center on the campus of Robert Morris University.
IUPUI (3-3) has dropped their last two games, most recently falling to Wright State on Saturday, 59-57. Despite the lack of recent success,
Jernisha Cann has flourished in her last five games, finishing each contest with a double-double. The streak matches the longest in school history, set by
Julia Whitted just a season ago.
Cann leads the Jaguars with 19.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, while Whitted is averaging 11.7 points and 8.5 rebounds.
Howard (0-4) is still searching for their first win of the season after losing to tournament host Robert Morris, 64-54.
