SHREVEPORT, La. - After falling in the battle for first-place at Oral Roberts on Thursday night, IUPUI looks to return to the smiling side of the scoreboard at Centenary on Saturday. Tipoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. EST from the Gold Dome with pregame coverage on Freedom 95.9 FM beginning 30 minutes prior.

IUPUI (13-4, 5-1 Summit) dropped a 64-63 tilt at ORU's Mabee Center on Thursday as junior Gary Patterson missed a potential game-winning three at the horn. Summit League Preseason Player of the Year George Hill scored 18 points in the loss while Patterson added 15. IUPUI was without All-Conference guard Austin Montgomery, who was handed a one-game suspension from the NCAA earlier in the week.

Robert Jarvis scored a game-high 21 points for the victors, who improved to 11-5 overall and 6-0 in Summit League play.

Centenary snapped a six-game losing skid on Thursday by upending Western Illinois, 95-88 at the Gold Dome. Tyrone Hamilton led four Gents in double-digits with 21 points while Lance Hill had 19 on 7-of-9 shooting. The two teams combined to shoot 87 free throws as 58 personal fouls were whistled.

IUPUI is 7-1 all-time against Centenary and has won the past seven meetings between the two schools. The Jaguars are 3-1 in games played in Shreveport and 4-0 in Indianapolis.

Hill comes in averaging 20.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while three other Jags - Montgomery, Jon Avery and Patterson - come in at over 12 a night. As a team, IUPUI leads the league in three point shooting (41.5 percent), free throw shooting (79.2 percent), scoring margin (+13.4 ppg) and turnover margin (+3.4).

Centenary leads the league in turnovers forced per game at 17.1. Hamilton leads Rob Flaska's club in scoring at 17.3 points per game.
