INDIANAPOLIS - IU Indianapolis' men's basketball schedule became official and final on Thursday (Aug. 28) as the Horizon League released its full league slate for the upcoming season. Head coach Ben Howlett's team will open the 20-game league slate on Dec. 3 at Detroit Mercy before returning home to host Youngstown State in the Horizon League home opener on Dec. 6. 

The Jaguars will close the regular season with four home games in February, hosting Cleveland State (Feb. 7), Northern Kentucky (Feb. 12), Oakland (Feb. 25) and Milwaukee (Feb. 28) inside the Jungle. 

The championship game will be played on Tuesday, Mar. 10 in Indianapolis. 

Howlett's squad is built largely around transfers for the upcoming season as four individuals - Kyler D'Augustino, JP Dragas, Kameron Tinsley and Finley Woodward - all followed their head coach from West Liberty. In addition, a trio of veterans bring extensive college experience in Corey Boston (Concord Univ.), Lav Cvetkovic (UVA Wise) and Matt Compas (Dalton State). Two Indianapolis-natives, Jaxon Edwards (St. Bonaventure) and Micah Davis (Eastern Kentucky), are the team's lone Division I transfers. 

Ajay Holubar is the team's lone holdover from a season ago, having made nine appearances last year.
