INDIANAPOLIS - IU Indianapolis junior guard
Kyler D'Augustino has been voted Third Team All-Horizon League by the league's coaches, as announced on Monday (Mar. 2). The 6-foot-1 guard closed the regular season averaging 18.3 points, 3.5 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game while shooting 53 percent from the floor and 39 percent from three-point range.
The Ohio-native currently ranks among the Horizon League's top-10 in scoring (3rd; 18.3 ppg), field goal percentage (6th; 53.2%), minutes played (6th; 32.3 mpg) and assists (3.5 apg). He scored in double-digits in 25 of his 29 appearances this season, including topping 20-or-more 15 times. He had a season-high 31 against Wright State on Jan. 4 and had two different stretches in which he scored 20-or-more in four straight games.
In league play, he upped his output to 19.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while also leading the squad in steals (25). He continued to shoot at an efficient clip against league opponents, knocking down 50 percent from the floor, 36 percent from beyond the arc and 79 percent at the foul line.
