Patacca played 180 minutes in the home games versus Xavier (Sept. 24) and Green Bay (Sept. 28), starting at center back against Xavier, while helping hold the nationally ranked Musketeers to just one goal in a 1-0 loss. He then moved to outside back against Green Bay and fired a team-high four shots from his defensive spot. He came forward to tally the game-winner in the 104th minute for his first career game-winner and helped anchor an IUPUI defense that had a 0.94 goals against average for the week, while staying undefeated in Horizon League play.
