Elder had a banner weekend in her two races at the GVSU Big Meets, beginning with a personal best time in the 800m on Friday (Feb. 14) with a time of 2:18.94. She followed with a personal best time in the 400 on Saturday (Feb. 15), clocking a time of 1:00.27. For the year, she ranks No. 9 in the Horizon League in the 800m event following this weekend's efforts.
