Junior Reece Malapit helped IUPUI to the Motor City Cup title, going 3-0 in her three matches at Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. She opened play with a 4&3 win over Detroit Mercy's Elle Greenlee in helping IUPUI to a 4.5-1.5 win over UDM. Later that day, she defeated Valpo's Maddison Murphy 1up as part of the Jaguars' 4-2 victory. In the finale, she cruised past Creighton's Claire Orcutt 4&3 as part of IUPUI's 5-1 victory. The tournament win was the Jaguars' fourth straight dating back to the end of the fall schedule.
