IUPUI sophomore women's soccer standout Krissy Kirkhoff has been named the department's Female Athlete of the Month for August 2015. Kirkhoff, the reigning Summit League Freshman of the Year, scored three goals in the season's first three games, including a multi-goal game against UIC.

After being blanked in the opener, Kirkhoff rebounded with a pair of goals in the Jaguars' 4-1 win over UIC. The following weekend, she tallied the equalizer in a 2-1 loss to Marshall, putting her second in the league in goals (3), and points (6) and leads the league in shot attempts (14).
