Jason Jaruvang from the IUPUI men's tennis team has been named the IUPUI Student-Athlete of the Month for March 2013. The Phoenix, Ariz.-native went 3-2 in singles for the month and also added one doubles victory.

Jaruvang twice was named Summit League Men's Tennis Player of the Week in March with the first coming on March 4 after he claimed a straight-sets win at the No. 1 spot against Dayton.

Two weeks later on March 18, Jaruvang earned the conference's weekly award again after going 2-0 for the week, including a win at No. 1 singles against Indiana's Sam Monette, who had entered the match ranked 61st nationally in the ITA Tennis rankings.
