Women's soccer goalkeeper Jamie Farrell has been named the IUPUI Female Student-Athlete of the Month for November. The 5-foot-6 senior had a 1.50 goals against average and 3-1 record during the month. However, Farrell came up big when it mattered most, allowing just one goal in the two-game Summit League Tournament, earning MVP honors. 

She dialed up a 1-0 shutout win against North Dakota State on Nov. 6 and followed that up by allowing just one score in a 4-1 win at South Dakota State two days later. The win powered IUPUI to the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament berth. 

In postseason play, Farrell shined against perennial powerhouse Notre Dame, making eight saves in 90 minutes work. The First Team All-Summit honoree blanked IPFW at Kuntz Stadium to begin the month, capping IUPUI's second straight Summit League Regular Season title.
