Sophomore Grant Moon collects IUPUI Athlete of the Week honors after winning the Mastodon Opener on Friday (Sept. 2), clocking a 5K time of 15:33.7 to place first among 62 runners. In doing so, he helped the team win the team title with just 23 points, winning by nine points over second-place Purdue Fort Wayne. It was Moon's first career individual win and the first win by an IUPUI runner since October 2016.
