INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indianapolis men's soccer program has released its 2026 schedule, including non-conference home dates with Lindenwood (Aug. 24), Bowling Green (Aug. 28) and Western Illinois (Sept. 22). The Jaguars will open the season with a marquee matchup with Louisville (Aug. 20) and also play at Southern Indiana (Sept. 2) and at Bellarmine (Oct. 13) in non-conference play.
The Horizon League schedule will begin against league newcomer Northern Illinois on Sept. 9 and ultimately close at home against Detroit Mercy on Nov. 3.
The top six teams will advance to play in the Horizon League Tournament, beginning on Nov. 8.
The Jaguars are coming off a 6-8-3 campaign that included a road win at Butler and early season draw at Notre Dame. The squad will return All-Horizon League forward
Jose Antonio Herrera (3 goals), who also topped the team in minutes played from his striker position. Other key returners include midfielder
Bali Esquivel (4 assists) and defenders
Jago Thompson-Roberts (1,245 minutes) and
Noah Kummrow (1,096 minutes).
The Jaguars added four midyear transfers in
Jack Bilyeu (Xavier), Jai Dindyal (Xavier),
Luke Gonda (Bellarmine) and
Jayden Quezada (Chicago State) and midyear freshman in
Divinci Huitron.
