INDIANAPOLIS — The IU Indianapolis women's tennis team opens Horizon League play this weekend as the Jaguars host Northern Kentucky on Saturday, March 28 at 12:00 PM at the West Indy Racquet Club.

The Jaguars enter the matchup looking to carry momentum into conference action following a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Bethune-Cookman during their spring break trip. IU Indy secured the doubles point and picked up key singles wins from Kally Kadzinski and Elle Kotre, along with a point at No. 6 singles, to clinch the narrow team victory.

Earlier, IU Indy also showed its potential with a dominant 7-0 sweep over Huntington at home. The Jaguars captured all three doubles matches and earned victories across all six singles courts, highlighting the team's depth from top to bottom.

Through the early portion of the season, the Jaguars have been led by consistent singles play from Kally Kadzinski and Calli Sokolowski, while Chloe Bailey and Elle Kotre have contributed important points throughout the lineup. In doubles, the pairing of Sara Jankovic and Grace Lampman has led the way with a 3-2 record, helping IU Indy establish early momentum in multiple matches this spring.

Saturday's matchup with Northern Kentucky marks the start of conference play, making the doubles point and early energy especially important. The Jaguars will look to build on their recent performances and deliver a balanced effort across all six singles courts as they begin Horizon League competition.
