INDIANAPOLIS – After helping lead the IU Indy women's tennis team to a sweep over IU Kokomo, junior Sara Jankovic earns this week's #HLTennis Singles Player of the Week.
 
The junior from Itasca, Illinois helped lead the Jags to a 7-0 sweep in their season opener against IU Kokomo. She secured the No. 1 singles point against Ava Allen in dominate fashion with a two set sweep, 6-0, 6-0.

This marks Jankovic's first Horizon League weekly award and the first of the season for the IU Indy women's tennis team. The Jags are back in action this Friday, January 23 at Western Illinois. IU Indy will face the Leathernecks on the road with a 1:00 PM first serve.
