INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy women's tennis team will kick off this weekend when they travel across town for the UIndy Invite.
The Jags added three newcomers to the 2025-26 roster as well as returning seven from last year's squad.
Hanan Awale,
Chloe Bailey,
Sofia Castillo,
Emma Dell,
Elle Kotre,
Grace Lampman and
Calli Sokolowski all return for IU Indy.
Joining the Jags this season are freshman
Bella Duncan and juniors
Sara Jankovic and
Kally Kadzinski. Duncan comes to IU Indy as a freshman from Noblesville, Indiana.
Jankovic and Kadzinski both spent the past two seasons at Saint Francis. As a sophomore, Jankovic was named All-NEC Second Team Doubles and went 8-14 in singles and 20-13 in doubles. She won seven of her final 10 doubles matches of the season and finished her sophomore season at 19th in program history for total wins with 54. She wrapped up the year at eighth all-time in program history for career doubles wins with 35.
Kadzinski was named an NEC Prime Performer on five occasions during her sophomore season at SFU. She finished 21-11 in singles and 19-12 in doubles and had two singles winning streaks of five or more matches. She wrapped up her sophomore campaign in 14th for career wins in program history, seventh in doubles wins and 16th in singles wins.
The Jags are set to play at the UIndy Invite this weekend on Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21.
