Box Score ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The IU Indy women's tennis team fell in the opening round of the Horizon League tournament to the Northern Kentucky Norse, 4-0.
 
The Jags fell in doubles play to open the match. Elle Kotre and Calli Sokolowski dropped the No. 1 doubles match, 6-0. Hanan Awale and Emma Dell then fell in the No. 3 spot, 6-1, giving the Norse an early 1-0 lead.
 
After falling behind early, the Jags were unable to claw back dropped three singles point, allowing the Norse to secure the match win. Awale dropped the No. 6 point, 6-0, 6-0 while Grace Lampman fell in the No. 5 spot, 6-4, 6-1. Dell fell in the No. 1 spot, 6-1, 6-3.
 
Chloe Bailey was leading her No. 2 match at 6-4, 3-2 and Sokolowski was ahead in the No. 4 spot, 6-4, 1-0 before the match when final.
 
IU Indy finished the season with two conference wins, the most since 2019.
