Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The IU Indy women's tennis team defeated Bethune-Cookman in a dominated 7-0 match on Wednesday afternoon in Florida.
 
The Jags took the lead early with the doubles point. Grace Lampman and Chloe Bailey took the No. 2 doubles match, 6-0 to secure the doubles point after the Jags' won the No. 3 match due to forfeit. Elle Kotre and Calli Sokolowski took the No. 2 match, 6-2.
 
With a 1-0 lead, the Jags then swept singles play. Hanan Awale earned the No. 6 singles point due to forfeit to get the Jags started in singles play. Lampman then won the No. 5 match in two sets, 6-0, 6-0 followed by Sokolowski in the No. 4 spot, 6-0, 6-0. Bailey then extended the Jags' lead to 5-0 with the No., 2 singles point, 6-1, 6-3. Emma Dell earned the No. 1 singles point at 6-2, 6-3 while Kotre rounded out the lineup with a win in the No. 3 spot, 3-6, 6-4, 11-9.
 
The win concludes IU Indy's spring break trip as they will next travel to Northern Kentucky to kick off Horizon League play on Saturday, March 29 at 7:00 PM.
