INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indianapolis Athletics Department has announced its Hall of Fame Class of 2026, recognizing five former student-athletes for their achievements with the program. The five inductees comprise the 30th induction class and bring the Hall of Fame to 101 members and six teams. 

Danielle Lawrence (Basketball, 2014-18), Sophia Lipka (Soccer, 2016-19), Roni Patterson (Softball, 2014-17), J.D. Smith (Cross Country / Track & Field, 2009-13) and Olivia Treski (Swimming, 2016-19) will officially be inducted at the Hall of Fame Luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. In addition, the inductees will also be recognized at the men's basketball game against Northern Kentucky that same evening. Danielle Lawrence - Women's Basketball
-Ranks fourth on the program's all-time scoring list (1,604 points), leading the team in scoring her final three seasons
-Also ranks among the program's top-10 all-time in free throws made (4th; 357) and steals (10th; 180) 
-Three-time First Team All-League honoree
-Five-time League Player of the Week selection
-Led the team in steals all four years of her career

Sophia Lipka - Women's Soccer
-Program's all-time leader in shutouts (21.0) and goals against average (1.08) and ranks second in wins (30) and minutes played (5105:37)
-Led the 2017 team to the program's first-ever Horizon League Tournament title and NCAA Tournament berth
-2017 Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year and Horizon League Tournament MVP
-Two-time All-Horizon League honoree
-Four-time League Player of the Week and one-time #NCAASoccer National Player of the Week

Roni Patterson - Softball
-Four-time All-League honoree (two-time first time all-league honoree)
-Program's all-time leader in homeruns (40) while setting new Division I-era records for runs scored (151), runs batted in (149), total bases (397) and slugging percentage (.631)
-Three-time All-Tournament Team selection
-Two-time NFCA All-Central Region selection

J.D. Smith - Men's Cross Country / Track & Field
-Two-time All-Summit League performer in cross country
-Voted Academic All-Summit League in 2012
-Twice named among IUPUI's Top 100 Students
-Was the track and field program's first-ever field event participant, competing in the javelin throw
-Remains among the program's top-five all-time in both the 3K steeplechase and javelin

Olivia Treski - Women's Swimming
-Ranks among the program's top-five all-time in the 200 free, 500 free and 1,650 freestyle events
-Two-time Horizon League Champion in the 1,650 Freestyle
-Named Summit League Newcomer of the Championship in 2016-17
-Finished her career as the program's record holder in both the 500 and 1,650 freestyle events
