Box Score INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women's tennis team earned a home victory over Huntington on Saturday afternoon, 6-1. The Jags continue to play with just five players meaning Huntington sole point was by forfeit.
 
IUPUI started the match off earning the doubles point. Elle Kotre and Chloe Bailey took the number one doubles match, 6-4 while Emma Dell and Gabbie Orlando earned the number two doubles win, 6-0.
 
After taking the early 1-0 lead, the Jags won five of the six singles matches to secure the 6-1 win. Bailey earned the number one singles point, 6-0, 6-2 while Kotre took the number two singles point, 6-2, 6-2. Dell won in the number three spot, 6-2, 6-2 and Orlando earned the number four singles point, 6-1, 6-0. Sofia Castillo rounded out the lineup, earning the number five singles point, 6-4, 7-6.
 
IUPUI had to forfeit the number six match giving Huntington their sole point.
 
The Jaguars will now begin Horizon League play when they travel to Northern Kentucky on Saturday, March 30. IUPUI and the Norse are set for a 4:00 PM first serve.
