INDIANAPOLIS - IU Indianapolis women's soccer standouts Emma Frey and Caroline Kelley have been voted to the #HLWSOC All-Academic Team, as chosen by the league's faculty athletic representatives. It marks the first time in each of their careers that they've been named Academic All-Horizon League.

Frey, a junior midfielder, has maintained a 3.83 grade point average while studying exercise science. On the field, she's tops on the team in points (13) and minutes played (1,505), having sat out just 25 minutes the entire season. She's second on the team with four goals scored, two of which were featured on ESPN SportsCenter's Top 10 plays afterwards.

Kelley, a sophomore forward, holds a 3.93 grade point average while majoring in biology. On the field, she's started all 17 matches and totaled a team-high five goals and an assist from her attacking spot. She tallied game-winners against Eastern Illinois and Cleveland State earlier this season and she ranks fourth among the team's field players in minutes played (1,311).
