INDIANAPOLIS - IU Indy senior midfielder Emma Frey has been named the Horizon League Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season on Monday (Nov. 3). Frey helped lead the Jaguars to a season-ending 3-0 home win over Purdue Fort Wayne on Nov. 29. 

Frey helped limit Purdue Fort Wayne to just four shot attempts and two on frame in the shutout victory while also contributing a season-high two assists in the attacking end. Late last week, Frey was named the league's Sportsmanship Award winner and Second Team All-League. 

The Cincinnati-native closed the season with a goal and four assists and sat out just 12 minutes the entire season.
