MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – The IUPUI volleyball team fell to the Milwaukee Panthers in three sets on Friday night. Freshman
Ava Harris led the Jaguar attack with seven kills.
In the opening set, the Jags stuck with the Panthers with ties at eight, nine, 13 and 16. An ace by the Panthers changed the momentum with Milwaukee going on a 9-2 run sealing the set at 25-18. Errors proved costly as the Panthers took set two 25-17. IUPUI couldn't recover as Milwaukee took the third and final set, 25-11.
Service errors and attack errors played a big role in the Jags loss as IUPUI committed 29 attack errors compared to Milwaukee's 12. IUPUI committed a total of nine service errors.
Freshman Harris led the Jags in kills with seven while
Emily Alan and
Briana Brown each collected four.
Grace Purichia once again led in assists with 20 while
Addie Evans collected a team high 13 digs.
The Jags will stay in Wisconsin to face the Green Bay Phoenix tomorrow night at 5:00 PM ET.
