BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The IUPUI women's track and field team will be back in action this Friday (Dec. 8) when the Jaguars compete in the IU Early Bird Meet inside Gladstein Fieldhouse. Twelve Jaguars are slated for competition, including three competitors making their collegiate debuts in true freshmen

Shelby McGee and
Paige Schulte.
It marks the second weekend of competition for the Jaguars as both
Morgan Hoard and
Paige Laffoon competed in the Mastodon Multis in Fort Wayne last weekend. Hoard set new personal bests in four of the five events of the pentathlon en route to a career-high score of 2,856 points. Laffoon made her collegiate debut in the multis and finished with 2,802 points. Hoard will compete in the 60m hurdles and 200m dash on Friday while Laffoon is slated for the long jump, 200m dash and 4x400 relay.
Four of IUPUI's participants this Friday already hold school records, including sophomore
Modupe Awosanya, who owns school records in both the long jump (6.04m / 19' 9.75'') and 60m dash (7.62). Sophomore
Jada-Marie Davis holds the school record in high jump (1.60m / 5' 3'') and
Reese McCuan holds the program's best mark in triple jump (11.46m / 37' 7.25''). Additionally, sophomore
Kyla Kante is the school record holder in the 60m hurdles (8.96).
The Jaguars will roll out two 4x400 relay teams as each chase the school record time of 3:55.25, set back in 2017.
