GREENSBORO, NC – The IUPUI swim team will have four athletes represent the Jaguars at the 2023 Toyota U.S. Open Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Emmaleigh Zietlow,
Kevin Burke,
Spencer Jyawook and
Logan Kelly will compete in the pool for the Jaguars during the four day event from November 29 through December 2.
Junior
Emmaleigh Zietlow will kick the week off with the 400 free on Thursday, November 30. She currently holds top times in the Horizon League in the 200 free (1:48.10), 500 free (4:49.07) and 1650 free (16:40.55).
Kevin Burke and
Spencer Jyawook will both compete in the 50 free on Thursday and 100 fly on Friday. Burke holds the second fastest time in the Horizon League in the 50 free with a time of 20.17 while Jyawook sits in third. Jyawook sits atop the Horizon League in the 100 fly with a time of 47.13 while Burke sits in fourth.
Junior
Logan Kelly rounds out the squad this week competing in the 100 and 200 breast events. Kelly holds the top time in the conference in the 100 breast with a time of 52.94 and will look to continue his success at the U.S. Open on Friday. He also holds the fastest time in the Horizon League in the 200 breast with a time of 1:54.78 and will compete on Saturday in that event.
