INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI senior
Annaliese Fox finished off a runner-up finish at this week's Butler Fall Invitational at Highland Golf and Country Club, ending the 54-hole tournament at even par 210 (70-71-69). UIC's Dasa Urbankova won medalist honors at 4-under 206 while Fox was three shots ahead of the third-place finisher.
As a group, IUPUI finished ninth of 16 teams at 899 (295-304-300) for the week.
Fox had her best round of the tournament at 1-under 69, making three birdies to go along with two bogeys. However, some of her best work came in salvaging bogey from some precarious situations, including from an errant shot on No. 18. She hit a tough recovery into a greenside bunker and then hit a chip in close to setup a bogey save.
Ultimately, Fox collected her eighth career top-10 finish
