DAYTON, Ohio – The IUPUI volleyball team fell to the Wright State Raiders in three sets on Friday evening, 3-0. Senior 
Emily Alan led the Jaguar attack with eight kills.
 
IUPUI struggled in the first set hitting -.200 with nine attack errors and two service errors. The Jags couldn't string together points falling in the opening set, 25-7. In the second set, the Jags hit .000 percent but totaled nine kills, tripling their number of kills in the first set. Wright State took the second set, 25-15.
 
With the match on the line, the Jags played their toughest match of the night. IUPUI recorded a .200 hitting percentage with 17 kills to keep the set close but the Raiders sealed the match with a 25-22 third set victory.
 
Alan led the Jags with eight kills while 
Ava Harris added six and 
Morgan Ostrowski collected five. 
Grace Purichia once again led the Jags in assists with 20 and collected 11 digs.
 
IUPUI is now 8-11 overall and 2-6 in Horizon League play. They travel to Northern Kentucky tomorrow, Saturday, October 14 for a 4:00 PM first serve.
