Box Score INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women's tennis team took the court against Eastern Illinois on Sunday night where they ultimately fell, 6-1. Samantha Hayward recorded the sole point for the Jags at No. 3 singles while Meghan Bernard and Hayward recorded a doubles win.

Eastern Illinois won the doubles point to start the match off. Bernard and Hayward earned a doubles win at No. 1 doubles, 7-5 but the Jags had to forfeit No. 3 doubles and Eastern Illinois won at No. 2 doubles to take the point.
 
Due to injuries, the Jags also had to forfeit No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Hayward earned the sole point for IUPUI at No. 3 singles in three sets, 7-6 (7), 3-6, 1-0 (9). Bernard lost in two sets at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-4 while Sarah Lounsbury lost a close No.2 singles match in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (7).

The lady Jaguars will be back on the court next weekend on Friday (March 11) at 6:30 PM when they host Saint Louis.
