INDIANAPOLIS – After a 5-2 victory over Western Illinois last weekend, the IUPUI women's tennis team will face in-state foe, Butler on Wednesday (March 30) at 4:00 PM then travels to Milwaukee on Saturday (April 2) at 1:00 PM and UIC on Sunday (April 3) at 2:00 PM to being Horizon League play.
 
The Jags enter the weekend with an overall record of 2-12 after defeated Western Illinois last weekend. Christina Stankovic, Meghan Bernard, Sarah Lounsbury and Marta Krakowski all recorded singles wins.
 
Butler enters the weekend with a 6-12 overall record and are coming off a 4-1 loss at UIC. Katie Beavin recorded the sole point for the Bulldogs.
 
The Jags will travel to Milwaukee to begin Horizon League play on Saturday. The Panthers are 5-10 and are coming off a 4-3 loss against Valparaiso. Mayya Perova and Babette Burgersdijk recorded singles wins in the loss.
 
UIC enters the weekend 10-3 and are currently on a six-game win streak. Agnes Gustafsson, Tamara Malazonia and Ana Jover all recorded singles wins for the Flames.
 
The Jags will look to continue their recent success with the three-match road trip.
