Allie Pogue led the Jaguar attack with eight kills while freshman
Morgan Ostrowski collected a team-high four blocks on the night.
Hitting miscues proved costly as the Jaguars recorded a .028 hitting percentage with 23 kills and 20 attack errors. Wright State took advantage of the errors and recorded a .259 hitting percentage with 42 kills to earn the 3-0 win.
In the opening set, the Raiders jumped out to a 9-3 lead and finished the set 25-14.
Briana Brown,
Millai Madison and Pogue each had two kills in the first set. Pogue recorded four kills in the second set, but the Raiders ended up taking set two, 25-13. Wright State closed the match out with a third set win, 25-16.
In her second match as libero,
Brooke Phillips recorded a team-high 12 digs followed by
Darragh Dixon with 10. Dixon also led the Jags in assists with 11 while
Sidney Veatch collected nine. Pogue totaled eight kills while Brown and Madison each had four.
The Jags are now 9-18 overall and 3-12 in conference play. They will travel to Northern Kentucky tomorrow for a 4:00 PM first serve.
