INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI Jaguars fell to Cleveland State on Friday night in straight sets, 3-0. Junior
Emily Alan led the attack with eight kills hitting .357.
In the opening set, Cleveland State came out swinging with 14 kills hitting .429 as a team compared to IUPUI's nine with a .065 percentage to take set one 25-13. The Vikings continued that momentum winning set two, 25-11. Despite the Jags keeping it close in the third set, Cleveland State closed the match out with a third set victory, 25-22.
Alan led the Jaguar attack with eight kills while
Allie Pogue followed with six and
Briana Brown added five.
Darragh Dixon and
Sidney Veatch each collected 12 assists while
Brooke Phillips earned 10 digs.
Morgan Ostrowski, Phillips, Pogue and Brown each recorded a service ace.
The Jags close out the season at home tomorrow, Nov. 12 when they celebrate senior day as they face Oakland at 4:00 PM.
