GREEN BAY, Wis. – The IUPUI volleyball team fell in straight sets to the Green Bay Phoenix on Tuesday night, 3-0. Freshman
Morgan Ostrowski served up three aces in the loss.
Green Bay took the momentum early with three straight kills to open the first set and didn't lose that momentum taking the opening set, 25-16. In the second set, Green Bay took the last six points to seal the second set victory and take the 2-0, 25-17. The phoenix took the match winning the third set, 25-17.
Attack errors proved costly for the Jags, as IUPUI only hit .045 as a team.
Allie Pogue led the attack with eight kills while
Briana Brown totaled seven kills.
Brooke Phillips collected 13 digs while Ostrowski served up three aces and
Darragh Dixon earned 13 assists.
IUPUI will be back in action this weekend when they face Wright State on Friday at 6:00 PM and Northern Kentucky on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
