INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI volleyball team fell to Northern Kentucky on Friday night in three sets, 25-21, 25-22, 25-22. Sophomore
Briana Brown led the Jaguar attack with 12 kills.
Each set was determined in the last few points with the Jags being within four points in each set. In the opening set of the match, IUPUI was one point behind 22-21 when the Norse recorded back-to-back-to-back kills to seal the first set victory and take the 1-0 lead.
In the second set, IUPUI held a 20-16 lead before NKU came back to take the set at 25-22 with seven kills in the last 11 points. The Norse then sealed the 3-0 win with a 25-22 third set victory.
Sophomore
Briana Brown led the Jaguar attack with 12 kills while
Millai Madison recorded the top hitting percentage of .333 with seven kills and
Allie Pogue added six kills.
Addie Evans collected 12 digs to lead the defense followed by
Brooke Phillips with 10 kills and two service aces.
The Jags will host Wright State tomorrow, Saturday October 8 at 4:00 PM ET for Youth Night at the Jungle.
