INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI volleyball team fell to Youngstown State in a thrilling five-set match, 3-2. Sophomore 
Briana Brown led the attack with 23 kills hitting .333. Senior 
Allie Pogue collected four aces.
 
In the opening set, IUPUI came out on top after going into extra points, 35-33. Brown mashed back-to-back kills to end the set and give the Jags the 1-0 lead. Youngstown State evened it up at 1-1 winning the second set, 25-23.
 
IUPUI retook the lead with a third set victory, 25-18. The Jags outhit the Penguins .269 to just .038 to earn the third set win. Youngstown State quickly tied it up at two sets a piece and sent it to the fifth set with a fourth set victory, 25-20. The Penguins took four of the last five points to seal the fourth set.
 
Youngstown State went on a 4-0 run late in the fifth set to seal the match, 15-9.
 
Brown led the Jags offense with 23 kills while Pogue followed with 19 kills hitting .226 and four aces. 
Millai Madison earned 16 kills hitting .423 while 
Morgan Ostrowski added three aces. 
Addie Evans led the defense with 20 digs and 
Darragh Dixon earned 35 assists.
 
IUPUI will travel to Green Bay on Tuesday, November 1 to face the Phoenix at 7:00 PM.
