INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI diving team won four out of five events that they competed in on Thursday in the dual against the Miami RedHawks. Freshman Sebastian Otero earned first-place finishes in the men's 1 meter and 3 meter dives while Alex Scott won the men's platform event and Sadie Smith won the women's 1 meter dive.
 
Otero earned two top-finishes for the Jags with a 3 meter score of 356.10 and a 1 meter score of 341.48. Sophomore Scott won the men's platform event with a total score of 370.05. Junior Smith earned the win in the women's 1 meter with a score of 275.63. She came close to a sweep of her events with a second-place finish in the 3 meter (269.70).
 
Scott finished fourth in the men's 1 meter (272.93) while Levi Vorreyer finished third in the 3 meter (276.45). Freshman Kayla Gott finished second in the women's 1 meter with a score of 233.10.
 
The Jags travel to the Indiana Intercollegiates at Purdue on Saturday, October 22.
