INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI diving team completed their regular season on Thursday (Jan. 27) with their last meet before the Horizon League Championship. The Jaguars earned three first-place finishes in the dual meet against the UIndy Greyhounds. Sophomore
Sadie Smith swept the women's competition and freshman
Alex Scott earned another first-place finish in the men's platform event.
Smith once again dominated in the women's 1 mtr and 3 mtr events. She took home the first place in the 1 mtr with a score of 278.25 and earned the first-place finish in the 3 mtr with a score of 274.13. Freshman
Deirdre Leib took second place in the 1 mtr (209.48). Scott set a career-high score in the men's platform with a score of 362.48 and was the top scoring for the Jags in the 1 mtr with a third-place finish (284.55).
Levi Vorreyer was the top Jaguar in the men's 3 mtr, taking third place (267.45).
The IUPUI swimming and diving team now focus on preparing for the Horizon League Championships, which takes place Feb. 16-19 at the Natatorium.
