INDIANAPOLIS - One-hundred eighteen IUPUI student-athletes were named to the Horizon League's Fall 2019 Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Friday (Jan. 17). The Jaguars ranked third among the league's 10 teams with 119 honorees, trailing only Milwaukee (142) and Oakland (125). All total, the league honored 1,048 student-athletes across all 19 varsity sports. 

IUPUI student-athletes continued their excellence in the classroom during the recently completed fall semester, achieving a 22nd consecutive semester with a departmental grade point average of 3.0 or better and a departmental 3.42 grade point average. 

Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify:
1) participation in at least one of the League's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season.
2) completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution.
3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).
