INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI Cheerleading Program leaves today (Jan. 15) for the 2020 UCA College National Cheerleading Championship held at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida. The all-girl competition team is comprised of 18 members. They will be competing in Open All-Girl Game Day on Friday (Jan. 17) and All-Girl Division 1 on Saturday (Jan. 18).
"The opportunity to attend nationals has been a once in a lifetime experience," senior Jazmyne Whitlow said.

Taking the mat are seniors Haley Barnett, Mariah Dragonette and Whitlow; juniors Makayla Boyd, Anessa McLaughlin and Sami Mikrut; sophomore Madison Daniels; and freshmen Olivia Brite, Sereta Burrows, Rhiannon Cox, Brooklyn Enright, Ashlyn Garzella, Madison Hamilton, Kiara Hubster-Robertson, Madison Ivory, Mayce Lagaly, Madeline Powers, and Lexy Price. They are coached by Ashley Burelison, Alex Csiernik, and Samantha Campbell.
Boyd, in her third season, "is most excited about the exposure our program will gain from this experience. I'm proud to be part of a team that future generations will look back on as the group that changed the face of IUPUI Cheerleading."
