IUPUI head men's cross country coach
Chuck Koeppen announced his team's meet schedule for the upcoming 2019 season on Tuesday (July 9), keyed by four meets within the state ahead of the Horizon League Championships.
The Jags will open the regular season with the annual Butler Twilight at Northview Church in Carmel on Aug. 30 before then heading to Koeppen's hometown to run the Crusader Open in Valparaiso on Sept. 6.
IUPUI will then make their first of two trips to Terre Haute on Sept. 21 when they compete in the John McNichols Invitational, hosted by Indiana State. The regular season will continue with an Oct. 5 trip to the Louisville Sports Commission Cross Country Classic against a stout national field. The Jags will then run the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute on Oct. 19.
Koeppen's squad will compete in the Horizon League Championships in Highland Heights, Ky., on Nov. 2 before then turning attention to the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 15 in Verona, Wisc.
The Jaguars will begin preparations for the upcoming season in August when the student-athletes return to campus.
