INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indianapolis Athletics Department announced its 2026 men's and women's cross country schedules on Wednesday (May 20). 

Head coach Antonio McDaniel's team will kickoff the season at the Sam Bell Invite in Bloomington on Sept. 4, followed by the Rumble in the Fort on Sept. 19. The Jaguars will compete at the Louisville Classic on Oct. 3 and the Under Armour ISU Pre-Nationals on Oct. 16. 

Head coach Justin Amburgy's men's team will open the season at the the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute on Sept. 19, followed by Notre Dame's Joe Piane Invitational on Oct. 2. The men's team will also compete in the Pre-Nats in Terre Haute on Oct. 16. 

Both the men's and women's teams will compete at the Horizon League Championships, hosted by RMU, on Oct. 31. From there, teams will head to Lansing, Mich., for the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals on Nov. 13.

The men's team is coming off a third-place finish at the 2025 Horizon League Championships while the women's team is coming off a sixth-place finish.
