DAYTON, Ohio – IUPUI women's tennis was on the wrong side of a 5-2 decision, falling to Wright State on the road on Saturday night (Mar. 30).
Both of IUPUI's points came in singles play as
Meghan Bernard won her No. 6 match 7-6, 6-4, the redshirt freshman's third-straight singles win.
Christina Stankovic took her No. 1 singles match 6-3, 2-6, 10-7. In the remaining singles matches, only
Krystal Grubb won three games in a set, losing 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 5 match.
In doubles play, IUPUI came close to pulling out the doubles point but fell 7-6 at No. 1 and 7-5 at No. 3 after dropping the No. 2 match 6-0.
The Jags lost their second-straight game and now sit at 1-3 on the season in Horizon League play.

IUPUI will be home for another Horizon League match, hosting UIC next Saturday (April 6) at 3:30 p.m. at the West Indy Racquet Club.
