WOMEN'S TENNIS TO PLAY AT TENNESSEE STATE

IUPUI will take on Tennessee State over spring break looking to break a four-match losing streak.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – IUPUI women's tennis will head to the Music City for a meeting with Tennessee State on Friday (Mar. 15). The match against the Tigers will begin at 4 p.m.

IUPUI will look to break a four-match losing streak when they take on Tennessee State. The Jags almost came up with a win in their last match, falling at Northern Illinois 3-4. In the loss to the Huskies, the Jags took the doubles point and Christina Stankovic and Meghan Bernard each won a singles match.

The Jags fell just shy of the win as Krystal Grubb lost in three sets in the final match of the day.

Both Bernard and Stankovic lead the team with five wins in singles play. In doubles action, the best record belongs to Grubb and Gabrielle Ochalik who are 3-2 on the year.

SCOUTING REPORT
Tennessee State comes in to the match with a 5-4 record but dropped their last match 6-1 to Missouri State. Both Aarushi Kakkar and Claudia Sole have five wins in singles play for the Tigers. Tennessee State's best spot in doubles play is the No. 2 spot where the Tigers are a combined 5-3.
