Box Score INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI was toppled by cross-town foe Butler, 4-2 on Friday night (Mar. 1). The Jags earned the doubles point and freshman Christina Stankovic won her No. 2 singles match but the Jags could not pick up any other singles wins against the Bulldogs.

IUPUI (2-7) picked up its first win in doubles play at the No. 1 spot with the team of Krystal Grubb and Gabrielle Ochalik winning 6-3. The duo is now 3-0 on the season together at the No. 1 spot. IUPUI earned the doubles point as Meghan Bernard and Samantha Hayward took their No. 3 match by the score of 6-4. 

In singles play, Butler took a 3-1 match lead winning the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 1 matches in straight-sets. Stankovic picked up her fourth win of the season with a come back win in three sets at No. 2. After dropping the first set 7-6, Stankovic took the second set 6-3 and closed out the match with a 6-4 win in set three. 

IUPUI would lose the match after Butler took the No. 6 match.

The Jaguars have a quick turnaround as they will take on Akron on Saturday (Mar. 2) at 6 p.m. at the West Indy Racquet Club.
