JAG SCRATCHES
- IUPUI enters play at 3-6-2 on the season and 2-1-1 in Horizon League play after last week's 4-0 loss at Oakland. The four-goal margin was the Jaguars' largest defeat of the season as IUPUI hadn't allowed more than two goals in a game in the 10 games prior. The Jags have been outscored 15-10 on the season and been shutout five times, while blanking one foe of their own in a 2-0 win over future Horizon League foe Purdue Fort Wayne.
- Senior midfielder Pedro Valladao was named one of 30 national finalists for the Senior CLASS Award on Sept. 23. However, Valladao was not selected among the 10 national finalists, as announced on Oct. 11.
- Senior midfielder Yan Souza was named the Horizon League's Offensive Player of the Week after tallying the game-winner in the Jags' 2-1 win at Northern Kentucky in the game's 89th minute. Souza took a feed from Alan Aguilar and drove a shot off an NKU defender and into the open net. Cincinnati-native Chris Workman also scored his first career goal in that game as he was playing just minutes from his hometown.

- Aguilar fueled the Jaguars' 2-0 win over Purdue Fort Wayne, tallying goals in the 61st and 64th minutes. The winner came off assists from Gianni Catenacci and Fernando Borges and he added insurance just more than three minutes later by converting the fourth penalty kick of his career.
- Souza has a team-high four goals while Catenacci has a team-high four assists in 11 games. Aguilar is second on the team with three goals scored and both Kirezi Freddy and Valladao have two assists each.
- McCallion has been brilliant this season, registering a 1.29 goals against average and 55 saves in 1046 minutes of action. He registered his lone shutout of the season against Purdue Fort Wayne.
- Junior back Tommy Patacca leads the team with 980 minutes played and Catenacci is second with 973 minutes.
- IUPUI went 5-10-4 last season and 4-3-1 in Horizon League play, earning a spot in the league's postseason tournament. The Jags then won the program's first postseason match since 2007 by upsetting Green Bay in the opening round. IUPUI later took eventual league champion UIC to penalty kicks in the semifinals round.
- The Jaguars were picked to finish seventh in the Horizon League, according to the league's preseason polls.
